Another fine tip, was it 7th out of 11 at least there will be no bookies having to register for benefits 2moro, only joking m8! I think we should adopt a system on here that when somebody provides a tip (odds have to be say 6/1 or more) to others, if the horse loses there should be a £1 or £5 fine donated to a charity by the tipster. I will bet that nobody agrees with this!

horse got stopped in it's tracks 1 furlong out virtually had to stop riding. one to keep an eye out for next time.

Good man and sounds like you were rewarded accordingly!!
Perhaps I will become the golf tipster on here, a lot more knowledge about that than 4 legged animals these days! Hope it was good win for you, invest it wisely on the next one, we all know you can't win them all!
Reluctantly having watched the play so far on the 1st day of the Heritage, I would suggest that Ryan Palmer (currently at 33/1) might be worth a few bob e/w, 1/5 the odds 1st 6, early days yet though, he has only played 9 holes!!

I had a punt yesterday David, it was very last minute dot com at Newmarket. The horse Beringer, had a morning tissue price of 2-1. I made it a 13-8 shot. I still would not have backed it at 2-1. It drifted to 4-1 though, and was massive value in that market IMO. So I had to back it, and back it I did.
I done the same over six accounts, in three minutes. Wish that I could have got even more on, but bookies are big girls blouses really these days.
I gave £20 to a homeless man the day before, and roughly £60 in charity sponsorship to friends in the past two weeks. I tend to give, when I win or lose Bumble. I hope no one backed Dingo Dollar at Cheltenham, as I said not to, but that post was deleted.
When you do see Gary, remember to tell him that Mark said that he is a noddy pest controller, who catches small diseased fish. Tell him it was Mark who cursed him forever, for the 'Littlebrook Linear'... He already knows well enough, but I like to remind him quite regular David.

The only people who appreciate punters losing are the bookies, very commendable of you donating some of your winnings to good causes, not many people would do that! If the recipients are recognised registered charities you could also get tax relief on the amount of the donations! Worth a thought!!

Good luck, as I think I said a while back when I bet these days it is only on sports where there appears to be no corruption e.g golf and tennis, I wouldn't bet on athletics these days having listened to Paula Ratcliffe, betting on a male running in a female race, good luck to Semenya more balls than Paula!!

There is corruption everywhere David. I have very strict rules about my punting, and I stick to them hard and fast. Only horses for me. Nothing else. Only on a Saturday, or big festival meetings, G1 tracks only. The corruption comes at a lower level in the main. The way the handicapping system works in the UK, means that trainers have to play the game. Knowing the 'game', means that you can see a bit more clearly what goes on.
I would never bet on athletics, never. Sometimes it costs me. During the recent world cup, I missed a big opportunity. After Portugal had played one match... Ronaldo scored, and he was odds on for the golden boot. Harry Twobobenham Kane, was shoved out to 16-1. England had not played a game. 16-1 was a stupid price, we had a very easy first phase. So I started getting as much on as possible at 16-1. And laid Ronaldo at odds on. But I bottled out, and stuck to my rules quite quickly.... No large investments on anything but horses. I should have got a lot more on. But rules are rules. Harry got two in our first game, and the rest was history. I made quite a bit, but should have made a whole lot more. Rules are rules though.
Reacting to markets, and human interpretation of those markets, can be very profitable indeed. Humans are not infallible, and mistakes get made through emotion, and overreaction.
