You have touched on some truths here. The real issue here is that the main body of daily regulars on here want every single new member to come on here all humble and naïve so they can and only `they` can show them the way and guide the newbie into their way of thinking. If someone new comes along and starts to offer guys advise they are made as unwelcome as a horsefly. Just because someone is fairly new to the forum doesn't mean they are inexperienced. Some of the gash written by the select few is joke worthy, but everyone else has to bow down to their computer fishing knowledge. As soon as one starts the others come for a back slap and bolster each other up. Shameful. This exact thing has been said before and here it is again.

In the recent situation with AZ, it wasn't that he gave advice, he came on here and started telling everyone that did it differently to him that they were noddies, and then if anyone said anything back he'd start crying about being bullied, he brought everything on himself. We have banter on here and for some reason there seems to be a lot of new members joining at the moment that don't get it and start crying or slagging people off if they get a little bit of sarcasm. Oh and not to mention the fake profiles..

It's not a load of new members. My guess is It's the same cock with multiple accounts.
Some people are just desperate for attention. You know the type, the pub loudmouth, everyone just raises their eyebrows when he walks off. Spends his life thinking he's clever and lighting the world up with his wit and knowledge. When actually he's a social misfit and doesn't even realise.
In my experience very loud and obnoxious individuals are normally over compensating for an underlying mental health issue, low self esteem, some borderline personality disorder. Unfortunately it's normally me who gets lumbered talking to them as I'm too polite to tell them to fcuk off like some blokes.
The internet's unfortunately given many of them a voice.

They tend to move on when the attention dries up. No point being a narcissist if you ain't getting the required results. They crave attention, like the naughty kid at school or the school bully. Often they tend to be quite pathetic individuals once you strip the veneer away. It's no coincidence that these characters are often the ones who go on to have addiction problems, it's a way of self medicating, cos one thing you can't hide from is yourself. No matter how loud, obnoxious and opinionated the front is they put on.

In person the question would be valid if you joined a convo midnway through as you wouldn't be able to read the transcript of the convo up until the point you joined so what you're saying is pointless. It's a different situation entirely.
Clearly the don T was rude enough to not read everyone else's posts before asking the question. So where was their manners to not give all the previous posters the time of day and ask them to repeat themselves?
