Am I going blind, I can't see where it mentions the battery in the description. I can see it comes with a battery and charger but no details on either. Have I just missed it?

Technically you're correct... And maybe I've called it wrong, but I didn't think so.
In the photos it looks to be the lead acid they used on the previous model (MK8), I have one - so that's how I know. Plus, if it was a new lightweight battery I'm 99.99% certain it would be mentioned in the sales blurb and description.

God knows what's going on. I asked carp porter on Facebook if the barrow in the video which has the swivel wheels is £1800 as that's absolutely madness if so. They replied saying it's not £1800.
Unless they are trying to get away with saying it's fron £1500

I've just asked them again, see if they give me some waffle as an answer
If it is actually that price then why would anyone buy the thing. Surely the solar, fox , nash or conversion ones can't be that bad. Even with barrow buddies replacement wheels you would still be saving at least £600 on this carp porter one

Given these sorts of prices and the cost of a lot of top end gear it wouldn't surprise me if we see a nasty 'on the bank' robbery or 2, I'm not talking your average thief. Just tot it up in your head...and if you have a 5k RT7, 3k reels etc etc...jesus it's scary.

So we used to carry all our gear for a night or two, two trips if staying longer.
We then got barrows which were a god send and made the trip easier.
Then power barrows - absolutely fantastic and no more getting stuck in the mud.
We then needed back wheels, because we piled so much crap on them it became impossible to lift the handles.
We now need swivel back wheels because the barrow is no longer a barrow and given the 7 ton load it will only go straight.
We now need a brake.
If only Elon was a bearded Essex boy, we'd have self driving bivvys with everything already set up....
