pre korda / post korda who cares.....I detest how busy banks are these days, unfortunately it's the hand we're dealt with now. aslong as we enjoy what time we have on the bank thats all that matters.

If I would have addressed everything as a whole I would have pretty written what singlebleep & Andy have, in addition to what I wrote.
I would imagine Kevin Nash, Rod Hutchinson, Tim Paisley, ken Townley and all the others of a certain age would all of said the same, but the circus is now a mega money earner, way beyond what I think even they would and have expected, that's why the likes of investment companies are buying into our hobby.
It's just a sign of getting older imo, 'they' will milk it to death, it may faulter, but as per my previous comment DF leaving waters in trust can only be a good thing.
At the end of the day if you still want to be a pioneeer you still can. There are waters that still hold really special fish here and abroad (and I don't mean size), they're just not talked about and while I didn't like secret squirrels of old I can totally get it now. (there's a irony there)

We can't use Pre & Post Korda...
What will the Carp Historians in years to come do to abbreviate that PK & pk?

I still use and like txi pluses
Is the reciever on the d ,s..better than txi on vibrate mode when it's used with silent heads ,maybe the new reciever has improved vibration /quiet etc ..
My old MMxr,had a brilliant vibrate ,almost a vibe for beep if you get me....whereas the txi just vibes 4 times on one movement ,bleep etc..

The issue is not battery life its flattening the battery while its switched off & then having to do a 72 hour re-set with no guarantee of success & losing all confidence in their reliability.
Having looked at some user groups not willing to risk further problems.

How can you perform a 72 hour reset on a bite alarm that has no battery in it!? Was it April 1st when they told you to do that 😂
Just out of interest I had to google it as I have no idea what you have been reading online to come up with that nonsense and the only mention of a 72 hour reset is on a cars ecu which is completely different as the car still has power so not sure what you have been reading! 🤷♂️

Got the e mail from ECU here, from the man himself the answer to a receiver flattening its battery whilst switched off is a 72 hour reset with the thing switched on.
Have a look at the user groups the answer to any problem with them seems to be a 24/36/72 hour reset this is ECU reasoning not mine, this from a company whose customer service is supposed to be great.
Agree it sounds like bollo*** which is why i got shot.

It does sound dodgy but it works somehow. It's like a the alarm goes into mute function when the battery gets low or is replaced.
It's just happened to one of mine. Tried it after 24hrs and nothing. 48 hrs and hay presto it's working fine again. Not sure if the alarm stores this feature and leaving a battery out returns it to factory setting.
Great alarms but that's an annoying problem. Luckily I only use 2 so always have a spare with me
