Read today it was social worked that removed a young kid that sparked the riots, previously suffered some head injury's, apparently some Romanian was trying to get the other 4 out of the country by the sounds of it. Cranks

I call racism when I see it. Unlike most on here it's a daily issue for me and my family and I don't give a **** about calling people out on it because they need to be told. If people don't like being called racist then the easiest option is to not post racist comments. Simple.
The 'way this country is going' is entirely down to government - if people are stupid / bigoted enough to blame it on those of different races / cultures/ colours then that just enables those who seek to maintain the systemic status quo. It's not rose tinted - far from it. It's seeing the actual truth of where we live.
If you want to 'flee' then on you go. Please take as many of the old nasty racists with you as possible. That farage **** can be on your list. He'll be off to the US as soon as trump remembers he exists anyway. Probably living large off some contract he arranged to sell off the NHS.

You have absolutely hit the nail on the head, pre covid and Brexit we had a massive eastern European workforce, everyone complaining about them "taking our jobs", yeah the jobs the work shy, unemployed and lazy didn't want.
Post Covid massive shortage of staff across many industries such as transport, manufacturing and agriculture, why? 1.5 million eastern europeans left, thats why.
Now those same jobs are being filled with the next generation, mainly Africans and Asians and I'll tell you from my experience, they are far more reliable, hard working and appreciative of the work than the majority of the work shy brits claiming their benefits and applying for jobs they have no intention of taking.

I see another member of our armed forces has been 'enriched' multiple times by one of our multicultural friends, and then licked the blood off the knife. Attacks of this nature are becoming all to common now. Certain people should get their heads out of the sand and come terms with the fact that we have a serious problem in this country that is only going to get worse. If you can't see the problem that the majority of the country is aware of then I'm sorry you are part of the problem.

And then have to explain to a 7 year old why some kid at school says she needs to 'wash her face so she doesnt look dirty' - or to a 20 year old that its the problem of the old white 'security guard' who actively follows him around the supermarket because of his skin colour.

The problem that caused the fighting in Leeds was not - as certain people would have you believe - limited to black people from 'the subcontinent ' or 'the third world' - it was the Roma community. But that doesn't fit some people's agenda does it? Or maybe I'm being too harsh and bigotry based on race is just 'their culture ' .
I'll always be a minority voice on this site - but if i can get even one person to reevaluate things then that'll be a win for everyone.

I think the term racist is a wide scale from 1-100., it's all open to misinterpretation and personal interpretation. It's a fact though these areas are driven by the culture of the people that live there and it's the way they choose to live. Put them all together like in Harehills and it really is a site to see, it could exploded at any time and often does.
As for the 20 year old in the supermarket, that will almost definitely will be the result of a pattern drawn from experience. Crime is rife in a lot of communities. People have unconscious bias as well as conscious and the former is from a pattern of learning, experience.

To be fair ,the only " angry racist " I see on here is Mal., now I reckon if you showed mals posts in the former ,or past to a psychology professional ,it could be considered, construed even that this reason is because of choices the individual has indeed made,in the past ...
