No scam at 99p a ticket the odds if all tickets sell are 75000 to 1 . I reckon his break even is probably around 40-50% of the ticket sales .If you watch the draw live on faceache you'll see some people spend a hell of a lot on tickets , even if you spent £500 the odds are still 150 to 1.
Like all gambling only spend what you can afford and remember there is only ever really going to one winner and thats the bookie.

I did win a pre paid card on McDonald's instant win monopoly game years ago

I set up accounts on a couple of these to "have a dabble". Didnt do any good, however i was bombarded with emails from them daily aswell as social media post trying to entice me to gamble, so i ended up unsubscribing. Im not a gambling addict by any means but i can see how people would get roped into these raffles.

Not fishing but 2 people from my work enter those comps 1 entered a money one and won 15,000 the other entered a golf one and won a full set of golf clubs worth 3k and he only spent £10 but now is hooked on entering the guy who won the cash has been doing so for ages so probably spent a small fortune but not 15k, I spent a tenner won nothing but not done it again.
