+ I only put the bivvy in the frontier bivvy bag.
Vapour peak, mesh door and groundsheet goes in my Trakker armo v4 overwrap bag (fits perfect), all my pegs that i use for the Frontier/Armo v4 also 8 12' pegs go in a Chub Vantage Accessory Box Bag Large, i dony use the Fox pegs only Trakker ones.

The Frontier X is brilliant. If you can put up with the weight and bulk, it's a no brainer.

I have the XD & use it religiously through the Winter, genuinely can't fault it aside from the weight/size (but that's what I needed for the longer sessions).
Really good quality material, goes up super quickly, have bought the overwrap & use this instead of the inside panel.

I got myself an X+ last Christmas. It's been fantastic. Big and heavy yes, but very good in every other respect. Size is perfect. Love the inner dome and blackout material.

It's not light but is better if you toss out the unnecessary stuff and strip it back. Had mine over a year now and very happy to take for overnighters. It's lovely and dark inside which helps me sleep well.
One thing that did happen was one of the front poles came out of the block last week. I was pretty upset to begin with as it wasn't under that much pressure. I thought I'd broken a very expensive bivvy... I'm hopeful that I've fixed it though with a blob of silicone grease and a gentle tap with a rubber mallet the ball joint popped back in and it now looks as it should! Will find out tomorrow if it fixed it permanently but thought worth sharing in case it happens to you...

Ive had my frontier x since it came out. on the last few times ive used it the front poles keep popping out.
Its really annoying as i really like the bivvy but, its a real pain setting up.
Has anyone else had problems with the poles. Its seems really tight getting the poles in than when i first got it it went up easy.
any ideas?

Do you think it's wear on the plastic spreader block? That was my main concern when they came out, the longevity of it, or any plastic spreader.

Having the same problem with my xd always seems to be the left arm side. Get it back home break the block down pop it back together try it in the garden all fine and dandy, get to the lake and out it pops. Bloody frustrating bet I've not used it more than 20 times
was thinking of buying new block and both arms.

Could it be a problem with unlevel ground putting more pressure on 1 side ?
Assuming your gardens fairly flat might explain why it doesn't do it there.

Ive just been trying it in the garden all went up fine.
I think its because im not fanning the poles out enough. i checked the tightness of the block and all nice and tight, i did put a peg in the back pole which helped.
Hopefully i have solved it

I have had the same i ended up buying a new central block, i think once it starts its continues to do it, nothing more frustrating than setting up in the rain in a hurry and having to get the front back in place!!

Never had this issue with mine Kev although i do fan it out really well before pulling up the bars........I imagine you have jump up and push them into place which could be the issue........
