The solar buzz bars are 3/8" i dont know what dia your neville swan neck are but the standard neville adjustable bars are 1/2" and dont fit also the jag are 1/2" and as mentioned dont fit.
Its a shame that solar changed the design of the uprights originally they had the drop in goal post converters attached via 3/8 thread which meant their original chunky drop in converters and also summit tackle's converters could be fitted to enable the more common 1/2" dia buzz bars to be used on the solar pods

Thanks, that's roughly the same as the Matrix Rock Solid set up then. I thought the solar would be alot lighter for some reason.

It is a proper solid bit of kit....
Anything that's lighter means it's less stainless and more likely to bend or blow over. 😉😉👍

I have the Solar WW and use the euro conversion kit to increase the length of he legs and use it in the shallows, use waders to get to it or get wet either way it's great and does all I want from a pod.

Minimal play in my solar adjustable buzz bars.
Anyway the mini does look nice but I wouldn't change from the standard one. Having owned one for 17 years I am quite happy with what it does.

How long is the standard centre rod mate? The compact is 15 inches and extends to 25 inches.

Very but always a catch, standard universal would want longer sticks for use wading out in the water, the euro version would want shorter sticks for a low profile on ground. Both expensive if you don't already have buzz bars. Saying that it's the most versatile pod I've seen and should last a lifetime if looked after.
Also why not make the uprights adjustable to allow rods to be level when alarms and butt rests are in place and pod parallel to ground.

Been using a solar worldwide for years !! and the first real concern i would have with this mini pod it is stability as the standard size worldwide will blow over with a side wind pushing though never mind this mini one.. i can see that going over if your fishing the margins

The front uprights are shorter similar to my WW rods are pretty level with solar back rests and new delks.
