Good honest reply I've had my TXI D a good while now and been faultless had the RX+ again faultless just issues with braid, had loads of issues prior with original TXI + alarms but touch wood new TXI-D superb

Having the same issue with my RX+, the volume and tone dials dont cliick and one has come out fully. Contacted Fox today for a replacement. It appears the dials just click back in anyway.
Came onto this thread as toying with the ID of going back to Delkims (only thing I would miss is drop back tone/light and the ability to change colours on the fly). The thing I miss most is the sound, nothing beats a 2am jack the ripper sound of a screaming Delkim.
I think I may take the plunge, can get 20% off TXI-D at Hull Angling so a 3 rod set is coming to £444 - I can sell my RX+ for nearly that much second hand.

I'm actually quite liking my TXIDs after a 20yr affair with RX Digitals . . .my only irritation is when muting the alarm heads to fiddle with indicators etc the remote doesn't also auto-mute (needs to be turned down manually prior).
Once set up they really don't need any more messing about with other than perhaps the response dial depending on the fishing situation - unlike RX+ they also don't look like tonka toys that have fallen off a badly designed tool . . .

Mouse coffins lol, all that functionality and your stuck with fixed led colour? No drop back differential? Let's take the old alarm and make it water tight, smaller and more complicated to use.

Give England Angling a try. There doing 3 alarms and a receiver for £470. It may be certain colours only though.

At the end of the day they are both excellent alarms. Never owned the rx+ and i imagine they are excellent but had the ntxrs and now back on delk d's. I would happily use either brand. Im to old and lifes to short to argue about which is better and I personally dont really care as i dont think one is better than the other one. I just fancied a change and I prefer the look of the delks but thats just me and everyone has different taste. You wont go wrong with either.
