Even if it's your own land, you politely tell them to sling their hook and that's that. 99% of people, myself included, just apologise and go elsewhere.
No-one has been cut, no-one has died. They're a silly boy for getting caught. Even sillier for putting it on social media to profit from.

I agree, that sort of thing is a bit juvenile but when did I say that anyone told me anything? I'm not repeating rumours, there's no heresay. I'm really not sure why you're getting so upset about it.

Myles Gibson, caught poaching, fined for it and then named carp angler of the year and glorified for good angling, when in reality he illegally fished where he wasn't allowed to be to catch that fish. It's not good Angling, it's sh*thousery at its finest.

For the record I wasn't personally attacking you I was saying if it's such common knowledge and it's not an unsubstantiated rumour just come out with it was all I was saying mate, especially as there are some of us not as in the know, but good to know and I agree very naughty boy considering the whole tatton park thing against him too
