Yes mate 10,000 is more than enough. To be waterproof I think it has to be 1000HH or something like that.
10,000 means something like it can hold 10mm volume of water ontop of the material which would never happen Unless you let it pool up from putting it up wrong.

the world seems to have gone mad for these hub shelters, i fish with my mate who uses the traker mk2 and i use a simple 2 rib bivvy , and its got more room and we both think just as usefull

we are not all the same and quite clearly there is an ever increasing market for taller shelters OK not every ones cup of tea for sure but its in the Thread title 150cm !!!!
And lets have a reality check here currently people THAT DO WANT a non pram hood 150cm fast erect shelter the choice is bloody limited in comparison as far as I know there are only 3 or possibly 4 to choose from
( despite people posting up inaccuracy`s ) versus F*** knows how many low ones

Agree, i have only found 4 that state 150cm. The quest, pioneer 150 and tempest 150 (actually 145) and the 100T. In reality though, the quest door opening is 135-140 (I asked quest) and im assuming the same for the other 2 which i will measure at NAS. For us oldies with crocked backs and necks that door opening height is mighty important.

My mistake, its 5 including the nash hide XL (150 high but 130 at peak) plus the 100T
Not heard of Quest before as I don't really keep up with the tackle trade too much these days - would this be comparable to say Cyprinus in quality terms?

I found a skull cap helps a lot with condensation on the roof section and just as useful when its in full sun it really helps to keep it cool as I found out last year in the extreme heat we had on a bank with no shelter 30c plus I never ever take mine off
as far as quality goes if you watch the video in the link I posted in this thread ( post 1 ) you will see the camo version has a 20,000 HH and the Green version 10,000 HH
And to put that in perspective Family Camping frame tents are often around 3000hh
and I have a 6 year old 5000hh bivvy thats never had the need for reproofing and its mainly used just for my winter fishing and bad weather
lots of folk seem to reproof bivvys completely unnecessarily ? maybe confusing heavy condensation with leaks
