Have you read the start of this thread, pre release, and the various other omc threads. Particularly the first one when he announced he was leaving korda. People had judged this product before release, because of ali hamindi. Hell of a lot of people out there on the hate Ali bandwagon

If you slow down the footage of the fish at the end. It is already hooked before it even turns away from the camera and the twig doesn't set off until the lead is lifted off the bed of the lake.

There are without doubt those who think he is marmite , I follow most carp related items released to market out of curiosity in case it's an improvement on the items I use now , but that goes for all company's out there . Other than a box you strap to your rod to eliminate a problem that ain't there , and this thing , all the others are just variants of products out there already . People looking for the short cut will buy it , I see issues , I see issues of casting out a trap but I'm not the target market , as with a lot of the stuff .

I really can't see myself using this product it's just another pointless product just designed to take money out of an easily influenced anglers pocket.
Kids have grown up with Ali on the tv so are likely to buy into his sales patter.

why not attach the twigg to a lead clip,a 3.5oz lead and tie the main line onto the quick change swivel where the hooklength would go,cast it out into the lake and wind it in simulating a fish swimming through weed,snags etc with a lead attached and see what happens...if it snagg in the weed/snags,if the arms bend back like ali says they will.... also if you belive what ali says,the lead clip is redundant as the the fish shaking its head will be absorbed by the spring,so the lead clip will never dump the lead on the take only when it pulls through weed if your lucky

People were slating it before they even knew what it was, and that slating, was because of Ali Hamidi and their view on him. I replied to your message where you suggested that there is no ali hamidi hate bandwagon

I dont like the guy,I use omc putty as its spot on,best I've used since kryston heavy metal..I don't not use it because I don t like his pushy aggressive sales tactics...I don't like the way he tries make everyone believe they'll catch less if theyre not using his products and the people.next to you are...would I use this product if it was safe, definitely not as it doesn't interest me....what I don't like is the arrogance of him when people.are blatantly pointing out the flaws in the product,he tried blagging saying the arms snap,they didn't!!!!,he said the arms were put that way so they didn't snag weed and debris when playing a fish in...but its OK for a fish to tow it through weed after a snap/crack off!!!!
he says it's activated by the fish, but the fish has to be hooked already to create enough pressure to activate the twigg.
so to sum it up, yes I dislike his sales and marketing tactics...would I use a product that's fit for purpose even though its made by omc,yes I would.

It's not mainstream media, you have to go to either OMC or Ali's content and press play to see all the stuff you are saying you dislike.
