I managed to get to a tackle shop with a selection of rucksacks and I ended up going for the Trakker 50l NXG. It was between this and the ESP rucksack. Mainly down to the shape of the Trakker, the adjustment and as an older model the price 
I've not been out with it yet - that will be this weekend, but the rucksack has lots of adjustment to straps and waist band so having loaded it up it really has locked to my back unlike the Speero that used to flop around.
There are 'shelves' in it too which are a bit of a faff to setup, but now I've done it I can have the quick grab stuff at the top and heavy and not very often used stuff at the bottom.
Outer pockets are massive too, so there is plenty of space to sfit stuff in rather than trying to squish it in.
Worth a look if anyone is in the market for a rucksack and are looking for a more traditional shaped option.

If you think the zips of Speero are crap, I think you are in for a treat with that backpack, mate. I read loads of bad press about NXG zips.
I hope you are lucky with it, though!

Fair, only time will tell but first impressions are the zips are bigger and stiffer than the Speero ones.
But most importantly, the whole rucksack doesn't flop about like a Speero flavoured pancake when I zip something up and sits much better on my back.
I'll bump this in 6 months with a bit of on the bank experience

I replaced the trakker with the speero , personally I think the speero is far superior...you pay ya money,ya take chance
Can only concur with Speero being quality. I've got pretty much their entire luggage back catalogue (everything from rod holdalls to lead pouches)
None of them have failed or broken in a couple of years or more of abuse.
The trakker items I have are in no way in the same league (quality wise)

For the Speero lovers: I asked Speero if they also do custom products as I am looking for a DPM rod holdall that has big, all zipped pouches for floating weigh slings and storm poles (most are too short too) and no other brand has that. I wanted zips on the pouches, because most brands only have a vertical zip and a top flap covering the pouch, which made me lose a bankstick in the past. The person doing the Facebook Messenger from Speero said that the don't do custom products but that I then need to watch their page..
