Dave Lane's stuff is definitely worth the £6 a month in my opinion, he's an excellent story teller and doesn't take himself too seriously which is a bit of a rarity in modern carp fishing! There's also been barely any advertising or technical stuff in there, it's just Dave telling stories with a few photos and a bit of video thrown in. I'm probably a couple of months behind at the moment but it's been a good watch so far. If you've liked his books you'll like this I reckon.

I would honestly rather give Joe Morgan a few quid a month so that he can keep producing the stuff that he does.
I've been down the route of paying various monthly subscriptions, and found that I was looking forward to Carp Angle every month more than I was the stuff I was paying for.
Joe is one of life's good guys as well, so I'd much rather give my money to him than to anyone else, and let's be honest, Cypography in particular has peaked and is on a downward spiral now in my opinion.

Agreed . Iv cancelled ( although no confirmation from cyp still 🙄
and will chip in for Joe from now on . Latest film , well most tbh from Jim Shelley you have large amounts of video looking up his nose while he does "Thunderbirds eye" which don't make for good watching .

Paying a subscription to these things is all new to me.

That's not a dig at anyone, if this content is available and people want to pay for it then that's up to them.
Not for me though, I sometimes think taking in too many influences can be a bad, social media and the like may have had a rapid increase over the years, but the carp aren't aware of that.

I love spending money in a pub.
I'm off to a proper east end London pub tomorrow and then to a Brick Lane curry house.
No carp fishing will discussed.
That's money well spent in my opinion, better than giving it to a social media carper

Yeah, I know.
Actually we didn't do much of any of that talk, I got the last train out of London Bridge and got home about 2am. It was a good night, looking forward to the next one
