Ive used Nash for over 15 years owning literally most of their gear and in that time only had to use their customer service twice. Both times they have been more then helpful.
Once when out of frustration i snapped an s7 bivvy pole due to it sticking in the wet. Called them up and even though my fault and by that time they didnt have any spares anymore as bivvy was retired they got me a pole cut to required size and sent it to me free of charge and I only had to cover the postage.
2nd item was my mf60 bedchair the leg foot snapped due to the feet not being straight and a sticky release button. They send me 2 x total feet systems free of charge
Every single manufacturer will have good and bad experiences. Like me with fox wont touch them ever again as everything I have ever owned of theirs breaks and their customer service dont even acknowledge you

I think a lot of it is down to how the companies have changed their business models over the years.
Initially companies like Nash and Fox made their own items in UK . Cliff Fox started with bedchairs from his metal shelving business and Nash with his slings and sacks knocked out by his girlfriend. As the companies expanded and increased their range out of their initial starting lineup it required more outsourcing and eventually outsourced to China.
This was the big as change as they went from being manufacturers to suppliers. If you manufacture something yourself in your own workshop/factories you have pride in it and will strive to ensure it functions well and provide good aftersales. If it's manufactured in China, in vast bulk you are removed from the actual process once the R&D phase is finished so are just interested in supply, shipping, new overseas emerging markets, maximum units sold, profit margins and how to limit your tax burden. Unfortunately with a large pool of customers out there buying the stuff you are not their number one concern.
Occasionally they get a scare like when said Chinese company starts selling the same items direct more cheaply but this tends to subside when same Chinese company gets greedy and realises it can ramp up the prices to match Nash and Fox etc.
As for you and your shodddily stitched bivvy with broken poles - they are more concerned with the 20,000 bivvys on the dockside at Felixestow than your single bivvy which they have already got the money for. Until people walk away from them and their profits substantially drop from this (not COVID or worldwide shortages related but customer rejection) they will continue to treat you the in same way.

Unless we vote with our feet and go elsewhere companies that have poor quality control have no impetus to improve. Use you're vote.

While I understand the OP's frustrations -
Your contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer - so your issue is with them so your frustration should be directed at them, accordingly any assistance you receive from Nash is a bonus in my eyes - the reality is they probably have no stock anywhere
I have had issues with Trakker - I had a broken XL Tempest (discontinued) pole and was unable to source the part - Johnson Ross refunded me after correspondence with both parties as it wasnt my fault but it took time and I went through JR's to resolve it
Additionally I had a faulty Delkim I took it up direct as thats where my warranty was
The facts are that EVERY manufacturer is struggling with stock especially anyone importing from the far east and thats fundamentally where your issue lies - personally I would speak to the retailer and try and source a replacement of some sort
Good luck

I've bought three ovals the original profile oval extreme and the hog all been decent they did sort my profile out and reseamed it having owned it for 5 years lasted me around ten. My extreme is 17 years old and my Hog is 8.
I have a Titan which I didn't need but like it a lot.
Not the best with customer service I'd agree, deal with a decent tackle shop and things get sorted.

So, you got an answer right? Doesn't sound like they're unwilling to help. There's currently a shortage of goods and issues with global shipping and distribution, unloading, etcetera. There's people that paid £50.000 for a new boat or car and they have to wait for months, sometimes even more than a year. I myself am waiting for a bivvy to finally arrive for more than a year now. Bummer, but what can you do?

Yes what brilliant customer service first I get we have none and don't know when we will get any then 6 months later I get told we are getting them in march .This for a product prone to breaking by the sound of it .Well in my book that's pathetic and not good enough .Their customer service is **** and no amount of making excuses for them by bum lickers changes that fact

If only nash knew magic and could make these things appear out of nowhere eh
Shame you didnt search your emails when it happened, to find out where you bought it from and return it. Rather than complaining on here 9 months later, about a company experiencing delays on parts due to issues affecting the whole planet.
