I have been thinking about buying a new landing net, and cant decide between the chris brown 42" with the 6+3 handle. Or the ESP terry hearne 46" with the 6' handle, any recomendatios as to which one to go for ?

I would go for the carbon Chris Brown all day long. Brilliant net and the 3 foot extension comes in very handy.

Hi,
I also asked Chris to make me a 3ft section with a spreader block, so I use that with the other 3ft section as a stalking net, which is handy as it all fits tidily into an unhooking matt.

They are straight but if you shorten the cord they will be bowed

Chris's nets have crimped wire instead of a cord.

You can still adjust it but it makes the arms harder to get in and out the tighter it is , which is why chris uses wire in the first place.

Got the fibre glass net this year and I really can't fault it. Was toying between it and the carbon version.
But it's even lighter and better built than I expected, so I will not need to buy another net again.

Ive got some of mine on my phone somewhere with metallic hi s blue whippings if you want them but would have to email you them as dont know how to post them on here. I had my dymag net built the same way, should of really kept that one 😞

👍🏻 I found some more of another one i had made. Very similar but its the newer version carbon handle with the new style of carbon chris uses now.
