The TXi is a decent receiver just bettered by the new digital transmission system. As Delkim rightly anticipated a decade ago analogue systems will continually find it harder to compete in an ever increasing digital wireless world.

That's one of the reasons why I ditched my delkims.

At months old the retailer should have replaced them and if refused he could of asked for a full refund and this in my eyes reflects poorly on the retailer.

Did you buy all at the same time, or add a 3rd at a later date. Could be a bad batch i suppose. Odd that they all had different problems come to light at the same sort of time though after over a gear of working fine. Did delkim say what the issue was?

Imagine it depends on what fox will do with them aswell. If the shop takes faulty ones back, and replaces with new. Then fox only repair them and return them, they are stuck with 2nd hand alarms.

I guarantee they're up for sale more because people can't be bothered to learn the functions, rather than any actual faults.

Few faults have been listed on more than one thread on here and there is a post on this thread where all 3 alarms had different faults so I think these have had a fair few issues.

I think you are both probably right. When any new product comes out there will be a percentage of people who buy them and then realise they don't suit them and there's bound to be a few issues with any product, nothing is 100% prefect every time.
At least with a lot of second hand sets about. There's an option to buy a nearly new set quite a bit cheaper than retail, then if you find out that they really aren't for you, you could resell them and probably not lose money.
I wish they'd just brought out a smaller redesigned digital txi and not f@@ked about with them so much. 100% waterproof and a better receiver was all they really needed to achieve.
