. . .as a Gash Metro owner I'm inclined to agree with gazzua - there does seem to be an 'instant' anti Nash sentiment based on heresy / biased noddy youtube vids and not real world experience . .
I've been a Prestige user since year dot and normally wouldn't go near Nash for barrows . . .however as stated for 'normal' short to medium session anglers who favour compact kit, other than self builds (and if you can stomach the price point) the Metro is the only off the shelf, small(ish) footprint powered barrow out there.
When I eventually get to use it in anger (still cant get on the lake with work commitments) I'll feedback! Until then stop bickering like girls . . .

I bought the triporter big boy barrow (non powered) when it first came out. Kept it for a year or so and decided its just too big ... Its a crazy size for a bit of fishing and just shows the ridiculous amount of stuff

I go every week, it's loaded with what I need and more, I don't use the power facility every second it's in motion, just when I want to, the lake I'm on at the moment isn't huge, not miles from the car park either, I'd say all in all it is still very impressive battery life

I have the triporter extreme 24v for me I load in a van complete and having powered reverse on it is a god send for getting out of van.

Anyway I'm busy at present with catch up teaching, upgrading my Hi-Fi... modding a power amp, sorting out a crap plumbing job, modding my barrow and down time. Once I've done my barrow I'd happily share my docs (excel, word and pics) probably be around September.
I get why some would want to get off the shelf kit, I also know that a far better job can be done.
Functions I plan on having
throttle
Battery indicator
Ignition (can be keyed)
Regenerative breaking (ie there is a force acting against it rolling forward due to back EMF so not just removal of power).
Cruise control (essential imo when hitting rough ground as if your kit bounces your response could lead to oscillation and create a bouncing fed back loop )
And of course a light system just in case.
