The one I'd really like to find is Minamino. Years ago we used to buy it from Boots chemist, I think I even bought a version that was strawberry flavoured. Haven't seen it for years without the carp tax though.

You are right, this is what Tesco list as in Maggi
Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (Water, Wheat Protein, Salt), Water, Flavourings (with Wheat), Flavour Enhancers (Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium Inosinate), Salt, Sugar
I missed the Disodium Inosinate in it. I add a mixture of MSG, Disodium Inosinate (E631) and Disodium Guanylate (E627) to my bait glugs...I can't remember which product it was but Rod Hutchinson used to really rate this mix of all 3 in one of his mixes.
So far I am undecided on adding the E631 and E627 but I now have enough for 4kg of my MSG mix which will last me a few years with the small amount of bait I make these days! I don't have enough hours in my life to try every combination possible so as he rated it I am happy to use it without too much testing (although my pond fish are drawn to the MSG mix at lower levels then MSG on its own).

Those three all work well, it's the ratios as always with these things

Another vote for coconut milk. Soak your tiger nut boilies in it for that little bit of an edge.
Ribena undiluted cordial too in the summer.... especially on lakes with overhanging blackberry bushes

Anyone care to share a cheap way to get the liquids out (vehicle)... pellets, bread crumb, vitalin etc?

Groats are good. Quick, easy and cheap.
The spider spod/wolf x spod with the magnets you can spod out pure liquid with minimal spillage if you really wanted too. Wouldn't work for thinner liquids but the more viscous ones will create a nice ploom.
Freezing the liquid in an ice cube tray to then put out works, especially as the water warms up as you get a constant leakage in the area. I'm sure carp would try and eat them though.

Have you never drifted frozen liquids over your swim when zig fishing?
I thought it was a given they'd float? It's ice after all. The leakage happens from top downwards. Thicker the liquid the lower in the water column the attraction will sink. Obviously not great on windy days.
