How long does the battery on the Anesty bait gun take to charge.
If the battery is low can you still use the gun with the charger plugged in.

I haven't timed the charge just left it over night. You have to remove the battery from the gun to charge it. I've done over 15kg so far without needing to re-charge it yet but I have just charged it anyway as the worst thing you can do with a battery is store it with less than 60%(ish) charge so didn't want to leave it part discharged

So with that battery capacity there isn't really a need for a spare battery.

I have just got one of these. I haven't made bait with it yet but pressing the plunger into the floor and really putting my weight on it and pressing the trigger I can feel it pushing me up 
When charging the light on the charger is red but goes green when fully charged which is handy.
I'm looking forward to making bait without the fat forearm.

Hi mate, sorry I only just saw this. Yes I did get around that problem. I delegated someone else to clean the back of the gun out every other day. Now I do not even think about it anymore
In all seriousness... It takes them a couple of minutes, if that. And that small bit of pressure release at the back of gun, stops us from blowing nozzles out too I have found! Not done one nozzle with these guns. Used to do loads with other brands.
We have now been using these guns for a long, long time. All day, every day... Seven days a week. They are absolutely mustard, bomb proof. Well they have been for us. Battery lasts for AGES. The battery on our first unit has not deteriorated at all. We are gunning out an incredible amount of mixes with them too, it's been charged soooo many times. Still as good as new. Lithium is so good.

I've bought one of the cordless guns, and yes the bait goes behind the plunger, going to adapt it to accept the Gardner / 5mix plunger, that should sort it

A bit of araldite pushed into the little slots would sort it.

Yeah considered that but as I have a Gardner plunger kicking about I though I'd make use of it

Nothing great lasts forever. I hope you all got one at £90 with free delivery. They have all now disappeared off eBay I was told yesterday. There is one seller left on eBay advertising them, but you can't actually buy it.
Now they are only available on Amazon. They are rebadged, with a slight cosmetically different battery (exactly same thing). They also now come with an extra spare battery.
But they now range in price from £187 - £245, for what we all essentially paid £90 for.
We all had a right touch. Keep your eyes peeled on Amazon feedback and comments. Spare batteries will clearly be available for us I'd imagine now they are on Amazon.

I did wonder if it might be possible to get an adaptor so I could use a makita battery off my drill
