Sorry the impression I got was that he was fishing a syndicate lake that he was paying for. No sympathy for anyone poaching a lake.

I wasn't aware of that as he refers to it as a club lake. However I have seen it in a couple of Nigel sharp articles about yately back in the day of him receiving a red card. I'm all for angling etiquette but that only goes so far. Like a lot of you guys I think if your paying for your ticket it's nobodies buisness if you move on, and they would get that reply if they tried to pressure me

Ah..in light of the 'poaching an under the radar' location comments I cant defend the bloke now.

Fair enough I wasn't aware of those points but (there's always a but) he's not the first name angler to guest on a non fishing water either in the uk or abroad, is it still correct to tell someone it's time up?

Ok but that makes it no difference as all the others shouldn't be on there. I get what you're saying as guesting puts him down in my estimation but still doesnt give anyone the right to try and force people off a lake.
