New iso isn't as bling as old but is every bit as good, possibly better, time will tell and the basia sld is probably the best basia. Loved castizms but the emcast 25a has a better drag and doesn't look as bling, performs as well for a third of the price, shimano twin power sw is better though if price isn't an issue and comes in a range of sizes.

Had the sld,did not like them for some reason.Im tempted try the new basia scw though,I will see how get on with these power aero's for a bit first

I've had two of the three go silent, then re tensioned the wire, and all seemed ok for a bit. I've now ordered some of the recommended clickers in the link below. I notice the tension wire is placed on the opposite side on the upgraded version.

I've used SS3000's for a bit after relegating my ISO. Thought they were perfection until I got the ISO back out the garage again to pinch some line off the spools...
OK the fast drag is annoying but the ISO are different class. If Rolls Royce built Land Rovers the ISO would be it.
Fishing tomorrow. The SS3000 went back in the garage and the ISO went back on the rods. Mind made up once and for all I reckon.
Had loads of Shimano's over the years, right back to the original Sea Spin Baitrunners. The build quality on those was on a par with Daiwa's best but the spool and line lay was **** by comparison. Recent Shimano reels are just cheap and nasty imo, even the top end ones. And I think Daiwa are going the same way now.

. I would like some felt washers aswell to slow the clutch down. Ultegra 14000 xtd ones would fit, cant seem to find them online

They came with ice washers separate so may put them in see.if that slows.it down a bit
