not used it myself but will admit I have thought about it. I have a friend who swears by one - and he catches more than most. (Not from an easy water either) A clear pit that is pressured all year round.

Yes. I think internet warriors claimed it was Fluorescein. A dye tracer. Korda specifically repeatedly said it wasn't.

It sure looks like fluorescein. But would that be a problem?
Fluorescein is used in waterways all the time and I have not found any research suggesting it damages fish.
It is even used to detect skin damage in fish:
"Exposure of either nonulcerated or experimentally ulcerated hybrid striped bass to an excessively high concentration of fluorescein had no apparent effect on health or survival. Our studies suggest that fluorescein may be a highly useful tool for rapid health screening in fish populations."
"All the 20 hybrid striped bass that were treated with
fluorescein and observed for 28 days remained healthy.
These findings were expected because excessively higher
doses of fluorescein are required to induce toxicity in
fish. For example, Pouliquen et al.9 found that exposure
of turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) to 700 mg fluorescein
per liter for 96 hours was not lethal."
It is also injected in humans:
It has also been used as a tracer in clinical studies of ocular blood flow (angiography),1 reflecting its
low toxicity
And it is used in eye drops to find foreign objects.
Just because it looks like something from a 80s horror movie does not mean it is poisonous.

I've got no idea if it would be a problem. I just remember a video of Ali, Tom and Neil doing a run down of Goo and specifically saying it not Fluorescein.

That is interesting then. In South Africa where Kiana Goo was invented it seems fluorescein is used a lot.

You drink it then.
I've tried a few of them and I survived

When they turn the rivers green in Boston? For paddy's day they use Fluorescein. Pretty sure they use more than a couple of squirts of goo to achieve it too
Saying would you drink a bottle of goo is nonsense. Would you drink any of the thousands of other liquids, flavours, oils etc that are used in carp fishing

I have not seen the video but what did Ali and co actually say ?
Did they, as I suspect say that the attractor was not Fluorescein ?

I assume it is this video. They are not saying it is not fluoresceine in the green Goo's. They beat around the bush a bit, and say they have done research on fluorescein specifically.
Korda speaking about the dyes
