It looks well made, and normally I can try to justify price but 74.99 is insane for a ball maker, for fishing it's just over engineered, would like to see a cheaper version put together.. if it was around 25quid I might be tempted ..

They do them up to around 60 mm so that will weigh a fair amount.
Balance it up with the right kit and technique and it “COULD”be achievable

Dunno mate. I don't think anything that doesn't go round the lead method style could make anywhere near 150 due to drag?

Might change tack on this instead of using a method feeder is go the other way... simple.. fluoro leader, running rig and fluoro hooklink on a D rig.
I have a cunning plan for baiting differently though which will take a lot of effort but something they wont have seen b4

4.5 oz 150yds I hope your allowed to use a shock leader.
Also if you can constantly hit 150yds you should be able to hit the spot close enough.

Yup using a shockleader. No fishing for a while now
What I need to do is practice getting the spod further. 38wraps without wind is about my limit with the spod at the moment. With a wind behind 40 wraps.
Nearing on 170 with a wind behind with the rod.
Unbelievable watching a guy casting a spod 210 yards consistently on the lake... crazy mad
