Fox fx series of reels are a better reel than the shimano reels and so are the Penn 7000 reels.They don't have any flex in the stem spool clickers don't break and they don't bring out a new model every 3 days claiming it to be the best reel they have ever made.I used to only buy shimano now I would buy any other make over shimano just not a Nash

Times have changed and any factory can pump out perfectly usable reels with good enough parts

The Nash is aluminium, the kast king is graphite
Obviously it's a reel built from a Chinese parts catalogue with branding on, but it isn't that £30 kast king

I had an original Titan that I only recently sold and it was still going strong but I wouldn't touch any of their recent gear with a barge pole.
Same could be said for most manufacturers carp gear for me, especially tents. Chinese rubbish with extra carp tax , total rip off, look at what Cyprinus have done and that's with the shipping and their mark up, probably100% +
You walk round a lake and look at peoples gear, most of it will be two or 3 season old maximum
Built for sales not for performance and endurance

so Nashys £150 reels use a spool off a cheapo thirty quid reel from a Chinese parts bin. What's the betting a few of the internals are the same as well?

Yonny please. It's not stupid, it's been wind tunnel tested to improve aerodynamics.
Someone told Nash the needed to improve the drag on their reels and bless um the new kids there got a bit confused
