the reason I want to know the heights is I want it for my River fishing and where I fish I need to have the rod tips as high as possible keeping as much line out of the water as possible and I like watching the tips
SO now that rules out completely this shelter thanks to Simon measuring it ( most manufacturers specs normal are well out)
so now its between the Nash Hide XL OR The new Trakker Tempest 100 T that Trakker have now admitted ((when the responded to my letter and phoned me up a couple of days ago )) they dont know the doorway height until the new shipment arrives soon

I see Quest tackle are releasing their version of these shelters( it's described with photos on their Facebook page) and it looks great to me..150 cm high with zip off front and they state will be reasonably priced.might be worth a look ...

My thoughts on these tall tempest bivvys is they are going to struggle in high winds.
It was always wind to the back of the bivvy but that isnt going to make much difference with these.

Agreed, small footprint and height is a recipe for problems in wind ..... and risk looking more like a toilet tent
Quest with built in peak looks the best design to me (similar to JRC Bloxx?) - If they can keep the weight down with a good quality nylon (no need for Aquatex as is heavy and overkill for a quick erect shelter) ... Keep the functionality simple, (as fewer zips as possible) and get the price around £200 i think they could be onto a winner.
