That is lower than a snakes belly. So the guys retracted what they had said, yet still they want to drag them through the courts. Of the very little respect I ever had for these anglers that had accusations made against them, I've now zero respect. Dirty, dirty, dirty behaviour.
I can see this seriously backfiring on these clowns. If you make your sincere apologies, it should be left at that. To then take thing further, man, I can see this haunting them for years to come. Real bad move on their part. Should have let it be. Just to be clear: I'm thinking of what the wider carp communities opinion will have of these people.

I'd be suing them if I was Stephen White, ridiculous.That podcast never mentioned anyone yet they have openly mugged him off.

They didnt accuse anyone. Just bought to light the alleged use of hormones in Carp fishin.. who they been taking legal advice from.. Bob down the Dog & Duck who done Jury service for two weeks so knows about these things..

Isn't it just. I'm on my pit and just finished getting the rods out, thought I'd take a gander to see what's been posted on here and I read the most recent posts on this thread. I'm exasperated the way carp angling has gone.
Threats of legal action coz some bobs on the I ternetz said some nasty things'. FFS! Glad I don't fish the places where the likes of these lot fish. Dreadful.
