Cant blame the industry its a victim of its own success plus the digital era has fueled it. It is what it is. Like everything, money comes first. So no point moaning about it. Just hope this hormone issue gets some sort of resolution.

I've heard the same thing, I think it's already been named (and dismissed) in another thread, the most intriguing thing I also heard is that one of the 3 amigo's Mrs is a vet

No idea what the stuff is ,but from what I've read it can be harmful if inhaled ,can cause impotence in males , induce miscarriage's in women . Now one of the waters i fish is a farm irrigation reservoir ,if this stuff gets on food produce are we going to see other problems .

Surely though this hormone can be used when injected stimulate the carp into releasing its eggs/milting but the person who mentioned it being used in electro fishing to group the carp up, operative word there group them up is there proof it tricks them into spawning when it's diluted in water?? Cos no offence guys that's crazy when you consider even with 30 anglers on a lake using it the dilution rate will make all this a moot point

I think you're missing the point that they can detect it in tiny amounts, as they only put out tiny amount naturally. The shark analogy is perfect

You on a long blanking streak or something? Seem to be really keen for this product to be accessible for the masses.
As anglers we mess around with all sorts of things to get a bite. But anyone that is happy to mess around with nature and the physiology of fish is a wrong'un. What sort of gratification can you get from not having to do any work to catch a carp?
What you fail to understand is that if everyone uses it at safe levels that multiplies up to be not safe levels. If everyone was using it, then someone uses a bit more to get the fish to them. Soon enough you have fish spawning all the time. And ultimately dying from stress. If you're an advocate for hormone use to catch carp then may the carp gods smite you with an eternal blank!

Plenty of comments about if X amount is applied in X acres of water 'it becomes a moot point...... Its not about quantities.At the end of the day its a principle! Yes,we all pull strokes once in a while, but this is ,to put it simply UNACCEPTABLE..End of
