I'd say that the line has to go as well.
The contrast of the glossy clear colour line against the matt black finish of the reels just doesn't make the reels "pop" like the pics of the lads with the darker colour lines

In the interest of your fellow forum members that have veiwed your pics and may be considering purchasing these reels could you give one of them a few strategically placed smacks with a ball hammer and let us know how robust the paint finish is, after all they will be no good to anyone if they scracth to easily.

Could get the handles anodised black I suppose , still , better than the handles that they come with.Found these in the shed, all out of ss3000 handles at the mo.

Presume an infinity br handle would look ok.
Some sort of emcast handle prob cheapest though needs be the right colour to complement the reel. I remember some people on here bought emcast handles for the avocast.
Saw this recently, reel looks a bit bizarre but a black ish handle with wood. If reel costs 75eur, a handle cant cost much surely. http://www.chronocarpe.com/moulinet-daiwa-emcast-carp-5000-p-19165.html

Forgot to add 'you can add glitter though'.
Still not getting everybody raving about these reels. They are good value and they don't look too bad, but that is about it in my eyes. Saying that the only experience I have of them is a friend got some gold lipped ones on a whim instead of his Basiairs. 1 broke and the other 2 didn't stay on there long
