That's debatable.
A shallower spool has a wider central core.
A deeper spool has a narrower central core, but also has a wider base so more line capacity.
I'd doubt there would be much in it.

Thanks for the advice everyone,
so I loaded my first spool with 150 mts of braid , then topped up with mono, then I loaded that spool onto an empty one, stopping when the mono was fully loaded, weighed the spool then continued loading the braid so one spool done.
I then loaded my second spool with mono stopping and weighing it until it was exactly the same weight as the first spool, then loaded 150 mts of braid , two spools done . Then the same for the last spool.
Korda sub braid in 450 metres length is marked every 150 Mt's so that bit was easy .
