Fair comment Smurf, I was going on what I'd been told. It certainly does have a high percentage though.

The first commercially available Nut bait i remember seeing was the Carp company's Nut mix. Went over to the owners house in Worcester park with a pal to pick a load up with Flavour and bits and bobs. The owner showed a chest freezer full of his Nut mix he had just rolled. It was the most bait we had ever seen and in such a big size as he was at the time fishing Hairfield. This was at a time when if you wanted decent bait you had to roll it yourself. Must of been early 90's. At a time when everyone was using birdfood and fishmeal based baits..
Key baits maxi nut
Hi, i know a few on here dabble with Barbel and was wondering if any of you have had success with nut based boilies for barbel ? Apologies for the barbel theme on a carp forum☺️

I'd also recommend abs, done well on plan b and plan X , both baits rolled with abs nut base but with different flavours/attractors.

Absolutely; M/C Nut is a great bait from ABS
They also do a 'winterised' version of this Mr. B. tells me
