I've got a Drennan Specialist 44 gathering dust (prefer the Fox 45) . . .never used and need to shift!

I think negative reviews might be related to the fact that it's not a "Carp Shelter" being aimed more towards pleasure anglers and therefore lacks carp cred!
It feels a bit flimsy at first, but its quick to put up, lots of space with no centre pole in the way, very light, but set up properly(pegged in tight and storm poles adjusted) it keeps you dry and can handle reasonably strong winds.
Since I bought mine a few years ago, my 2 brollies have remained in the garage.

I would not be put off by negativity and try to get a look at one

I'll see if I can find one anywhere to look at, just no decent tackle shops near me.
All the negative reviews seemed to be around stability in the wind and being very flimsy
