I had issues on my local canal where someone sponsored by Nash (not saying names) caught a big one, posted it on social media & you tube. Now the amount of illegal fishing that goes on there is ridiculous. Litter being left everywhere, 5 hooks on lines and fishing with no nets. Since the video came out a year or 2 ago the fish stock has depleted. The Environment agency or CRT need to step up the patrols because most of the people don't have fishing licences or understand catch & release.

Snap here, I used to never understand no publicity clubs/waters but having seen what a little bit of publicity does to a venue in terms of stock but also wider Bankside litter/behaviour, this seems like one of the more sensible rules now.

It's not just in Angling though where greedy ,entitled ,five minutes of fame types are prevalent..

You got films that promote an area of beauty, I'm waiting with bated breath and bin liner at the ready because of 'The salt path' I've seen what DocMartin has done to that village and similarly others ..for an example ..

At the end of the day
The guy can advertise whatever he wants to or as much as he wants as it's his channel
It's your choice to tune in or not.

Not to dissimilar with Facebook or the others if they use anymore than 1 or 2 # per post get rid lol
