Albright knot, tiny when done

Make sure your end tackle can go over it in the event of the worst or the carp police will be after you.

I've used 40lb PowerPro in the past, and coupled that with about 15ft of 30lb Berkley Fluro. Didn't have an issue

I hate tubing with braid - complete PITA to thread & much prefer a leader material.

I've used the new Korda fluro leader (it's green which is a bit weird) & had no issues with it at all. use 8ft lengths with subfloats on the river - rubber bead & an alright knot hasn't failed me yet.

I normally use TA SBX in 40lb as main line , with a metre or so of Fox Submerge as a "leader" - I join them with a needle knot , small enough to allow a lead clip or heli bead to slide over it if needed

Hi. Just curious why you would tie a braid leader to braid mainline ?

I think he's referring to a leadcore type leader.

6 foot seaguar ace hard tied to the SBX braid using an albright, never had any issues with that

Because the Fox Submerge is thicker than the SBX , and therefore less risk of lifting scales , etc
