Yep, that's the beauty of that design pod. I used to leave mine in my landing mat or chair fully set up until I bought a custom bag for it

Any rod pod suggestions other than the solar universal that are long enough to have the butt ring on the reel side of the alarm? Sticks format ideally.

Without going too far of topic for the OP, Keith's defiant mps, is very well regarded by most on here and you may be able to request custom lengths / Widths.

I was going to say the same thing. I did discuss with Keith a fixed length centre bar as I too like the butt ring behind the alarms. I've not got round to it so far mainly because I have a solar worldwide & sod pod with the extension bar.

I also have the Solar Sod Pod extension bar.
It looks slightly silly when in use doesn't it, but back in those days I insisted on having the butt ring a couple inches behind the buzzer so the bobbin had a nice acute angle to lift into.

Sold my really expensive pod as I hardly used it and sons law needed one for the new syndicate .
Purchased the NGT and on my second session and impressed for the money .
Very stable and adjustable sticks.
