I personally think watching carp feed tells you more about how to catch them than pretty much anything. Be that in the water or on film. As entertainment the film is a bit rubbish but as a learning experience all the underwater vids are great imo.

See I thought they did well to try and bring in the entertainment side to this one with a bit of banter etc.
Truthfully, every film is going to have people that like it and people that don't. I'm sure there are people who would prefer to go and watch Catching the Impossible and others that prefer Eurobanx. It's a massively diverse sport, they will never please everyone 😂

I guess it depends on what you're into?
Catching the impossible hasn't inspired me to dangle a Mackerel over the side of a boat for 30lb Pike, yet Eurobanks on the other hand got me onto public waters in France. If I wanted to travel 4 hours to be surrounded by 10 english blokes in a foreign country i'd go and fish in Birmingham.
I guess it depends on what you're into?

For me not a truer word said, regardless of what they were speaking about the underwater footage was great. Always something to see and learn.
I watched the cypography one last week and to be fair i think that was better then the recent Korda one, as was longer and showed more detail.
Both rather useful regardless... the fact Fairbrass had never ate a boost was the most disturbing thing

yeah whats that all about? One of lifes real pleasures is welding your mouth shut with a Boost then spending the next ten minutes hoping it wont pull your teeth out. Whats not to like?

Another vote for the boost!
The amount of bait consumed with each passing surprised me. Got me really thinking about feeding situations. That fish in only a few visits to the spot hoovered up quite a bit of bait. That was not a feeding frenzy, far from it, and so what must a group of fish that are ‘on it' be capable of devouring?

I had a conversation with my mates at our christmas social about the same thing. I reckon on a single over nighter that Im not putting anywhere near enough bait in. I think im ending up fishing singles a lot of the time by morning, I reckon that because Im paranoid about ruining the swim with too much spodding that Im actually spoiling my chances with not enough bait. When it warms up this year Im gonna put a lot more in.

Actually our conversation came about when we were discussing who the most successful and consistent anglers were on our waters and what they are doing different to us. The two main factors that we agreed on was a, time and b, use of a lot more bait than us.
