It comes with its own key fob, you can operate it fully with that, or the control panel that comes with it.
I mounted in a suitable spot in the boat,on four small rubber pads, and comes with an exhaust pipe [inch in diameter] and a small muffler, this is piped to a hull fitting above the waterline, and all exhaust is routed through this to the outside, its almost undetectable when running,if you listen carefully you can just hear a low hum, and the fuel pump clicks to feed it, hot air is emitted from it via a small internal fan, no smell, no toxins, just pure warm air,it needs 12volts to operate. I've had it 4 years and its never failed to work as intended.

reminds me of Christmas at WVL, lake froze over, we got snowed in and Norman opened the games room so we could amuse ourselves until the snowploughs and gritters did their thing.
I had a beautiful leather just prior to it completely freezing over, not the biggest leather I've had but one of the most memorable.

I thought I should mention, my heater installation has been checked by a heating engineer, and I have a regularly tested C02 detector/alarm.
if you don't already have one on your boat, it would be prudent to fit one.
