I like your thinking 😉
I like your thinking 😉
I do 5/6 day sessions a lot of times throughout the year, just treat it like a normal 48hr session and just take some extra clothes food and bait. It's not a big deal I really enjoy doing long sessions I don't even bother with anything less than 48hrs lol
I'm actually away for 5 days in two weeks time myself

4 crates of Stella... you'll have to pop down the shops to restock on day 3 obviously.
Take enough for one extra night compared to your normal sessions

I'm off in a few weeks doing a Tuesday to Saturday morning but if my other half goes out on the Saturday before I'm very tempted to go Saturday to Saturday

My syndicate is 3+ hours away, so to justify the fuel costs I do a week at a time, in fact I haven't done anything shorter for about 8 years. I'm retired so time isn't a problem and it means a lot of the time I get the lake to myself.
Treat it just like a normal session and take more of everything - food, bait, power, bog roll etc. If you haven't got rechargeable items like head torches then take enough batteries to cover most eventualities. Now the temperature is starting to drop make sure you have the ability to stay warm. If your venue has no washing facilities take wet wipes for quick refreshes and have a strip wash -you can do it a bit at a time if your venue isn't suitable for an outside ******** in the bowl type wash. Sure it's cold but you soon warm up. Stay clean and you'll feel better for it, stay manky and you'll start to get lazy and fezzing.
Summer is all about keeping food cold and not dehydrating, winter is keeping warm and motivated. We're temperate climate country so it's not rocket science.

Believe it or not the hardest thing on a longer session can be dealing with boredom!
I know you're with a mate, but even so sometimes you may still want your 'own' time.
Take some books, powerpack or charging units for your phone and tablet, so you have things to do.
Every day on any session I walk round the lake, it is both personal time, and fish hunting time.
Foodwise, you can keep meat for 2-3days, so you may need to do a top-up shop halfway through.
Eat healthily, you do not want to be feeling egg bound.
For me that is porridge (I'm lactose intolerant, so make it with water), for breakfast, a tin of macaroni cheese or pasta with a slice of bread for lunch, and a proper dinner at night with fresh vegetables, pasta, rice or couscous; diced lamb, chicken with the rice, couscous or pasta, or a proper bolognese ragu sauce with tinned chopped tomatoes.
I may do steak, mushrooms and saute potatoes, easy to cook together in one pan.
Take enough spare clean clothing, and warm stuff, the temperature is starting to drop as the nights are drawing in.

Thanks again for the new posts, lots of great advice and certainly around the lower temperatures approaching.
Thanks again all 👍

5 full days!
Im a full time angler, the longest single seesion ive done without leaving the lake is 9 weeks. I do mainly 14 days with 1 night off.
I can still do 2 weeks with one rucksack, one korda cool box and one 5l water.
Water gets re filled at the lake.
Food, well i est one meal a day but do have lots of snacks.
I keep some clothes in the car
I have a Jackery power pack, i can rin that for 2 weeks just doing phone and vape, headtorch etc. If i need to charge say my RT4 then the solar panel will re charge the power pack, if not it only takes a couple of hours to re charge via mains.
All i you really need for 5 days is a bit more food
