You were using a float to suspend a bait mid water but the existence of the float probably suggests you weren't first past the post
I found this video and it was an anti climax. Basically he's doing what loads of people on here do daily on a different platform.

Exactly the point I was making Noj..... .....its all just a variation on a theme!
His rant reminded me of the BaitRoom guy who threw his toys out of his pram a few years ago and closed his business because he thought that his products were not getting the credit they deserved.......he soon changed his mind though when he realised there were idiots out there willing to pay £45 a pot....

I agree. He's a sponsored angler, earning income from tuitions and consultancies, fishing Bluebell, yet moaning about the current carp scene!! He seems like a good guy but this is odd.
Give up the consultancies and fish quieter waters. Life will seem better and you won't get so wound up about shrink tube!

I like Steve renyard but erm the facial ticks and signs in that rant on insta tell me he may of been under the influence of more than alcohol in that video having worked in an industry where drug use is rampant(cheffing) I know the signs and behaviour well
