Took your advice Roman (cheers) and found a VGC Tempest V2 Bivvy Standard (non faded) with a 'newer' Tempest 100 skull cap for a decent price - haven't fully tested it yet but have put it up in the garden and other than the head height it doesn't feel that much smaller inside than the Pio 150 - albeit nearly half the weight!
Going to use it in anger next week but so far so good - just need to see if I can collapse / erect it with the skull cap and infill semi fitted . . .which will be a bonus

Hope it fits the bill the mate, People on my syndicate have had similar niggle with the150, loved the space but found it a bit of a unit faff etc. 👍

Any issues with curling fabric on these had too send my aqua 150 back too really bad material curling up when damp/wet

Ditched the Pio 150 but had zero fabric probs - have been using the Pio Ultralite 100 this season and again no probs - the fabric is mega thick!
Do like the 'weighted' rod detail at the base of the door on the Tempest V2 Bivvy (which has not had much of an outing this season) - wish they'd add it to all bivvies . . .
