Cm90 is awesome stuff in any BS
Total reliability and little twist compared to everything else I have used to date

What BS would you recommend CM90 in for casting up to about 100 yards?
I want the properties of this type of the line but still need to be able to cast a decent distance, thanks

The 15lb is strong as hell but it'll easily go 100 yards. I reckon I could hit the moon with 12lb. Lovely stuff. Got 7 reels with different strains on.

Agree even the 20lb will easily do 100+ but it's all reative to rod and angler, the thicker stuff sinks and stays put better but that's only my opinion.

Haha I mean the breaking strains you mention, is that the actual strains or just the diameter of?
Example, the diameter of 12lb line is something like 9.5kg breaking strain about 21lb!

personally id go 15lb.
On most of the waters I have fished 100yards is further than a lot think they are casting.
The 15lb will give you scope for hitting your distance when there are heavy winds. Especially cross winds when you may need to add another wrap or two on to combat the bow.

Tackle Box line test had the diameter and breaking strain as prity accurate to what's on the spool.

I think i see where there is some confusion the berkley site is showing different ratings to what most of us have bought.
The two cm90 spools i have used have been labelled 12lb and 0.34mm diameter and 15lb 0.38mm diameter and this is what most uk shops have sold, so looking at the berkley site the 15lb line most of us are talking about might be the 11kg/24lb version.
The 15lb 0.38mm dia line is very good sinks very well and will cast 100yds with my 3 1/4 rods and possibly a bit further

That's the one.
I've mentioned it on here before for berkley, if you look at the spool it is marked as diameter of for the lb breaking strain and the supposed actual strain is in kg
This would go some way to why "12lb" line seems so strong, as it is actually 21lb rated
