What makes me chuckle is when folk say they are too complicated but they most likely have a smart phone - if they've mastered that how can twiddling a few knobs be more complicated.....

Always had a set and always will. If a carp farts next to your rig you'll get a bleep. Also love my trusty now somewhat dated NTXR's and very difficult to choose between them.

Agree with the previous comments - I've had a set for as long as I can remember, from the original TXI's, to my current set of TXI plusses. Never had an issue (apart from when I left a battery in my 3rd one for an extended period of time and it leaked, but that's my fault. And, full credit to Delkim who sorted it with no hassle). At some point, I'll trade out to the new Txi-D versions. I also have a set of RX+ which I like too, but I'll always have a Delkim of some sort at my disposal.

I had 2/3 Delkim TXI+ fail due to heavy rain in France.
Too be fair to Delkim they replaced them with brand new alarms which I then sold and bought some Fox NTXR.
In all fairness I miss my delkims, I liked the way the duocarbs and snag ears all fit in together neatly, if I find a set cheap I'll be buying some again.

Lost count of how many different sets I've owned over the years but have to say finally bit the bullet and bought a set of txi's eight years ago and without a doubt best alarms I've come across and can not see me changing from them.

Coming from Fox RX Digitals I actually quite like my TXI Ds as they give me something to fiddle with (other than the obvious) during those all to frequent lulls in activity . . .also own a pair of EV Ds for river fishing / barbel and they do everything required - as well as looking compact and smart!

Having owned 17 heads a sounder Box and 3 receivers I've had 1 head and a receiver that needed to be returned during the last 27 years not bad imo.

I've always been a Delkim fan and had my txid's arrive today. Setting up is pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions. Early days but pretty impressed so far . Bit smaller than I imagined which is nice and packed full of features . Can't see me changing many of the settings now they're set up to be honest .

Snap, got mine today. No issues what so ever setting them up. I love the beep rate and response settings, very good. Receiver is mega compared to the old TXI plus.

Like the beep speed too , set mine on 3 as a starting point and response on max . This seemed to me like it would stop the alarm going into overdrive like my mk 1's when on high sensitivity- nice touch .

I've gone for beep speed 2 for the same reasons. Might up it to 3 as it will take a hell of a run for the Delkim warble to kick in properly. Been playing with the led settings, also a great feature.

Yeah , probably one of those settings that once set it'll probably not be touched again but nice how you can customise them . Not changed the tone yet so might have a mess about over the weekend .
