I think you may be letting your thoughts get away from you a little.
Gubzy, have you tried any liquids on your baits before? If so how did you get on?

I do a lot of river fishing for barbel and chub where you're casting regularly, usually getting plenty of bites and rotating hookbaits. I've used squid goo on pellets and boilies in this scenario and I'm in no doubt at times it gets bites quicker. A change to a goo'd bait and a more or less instant bite has happened too many times to ignore when a standard pellet or boilie haven't produced for a few hours.
I have tried it carp fishing but when you are getting maybe a fish or two a session which is a good result on my waters it's difficult to draw any solid conclusions as to it's effectiveness. I suspect like most things, there are times it will work for you and times it will work against you.
If I was fishing a match style venue where bites are a plenty I'd definitely include it in by armoury just on the basis of the reaction of it to river fish.
As for claim of what's in it. I very much doubt anyone outside the walls of Kiana and Korda know its exact make up so i would take such claims with a pinch of salt.

I've used Dynamite Baits liquid betaine pellet before and seemed to do alright on it although I've checked angling direct and can't seem to find it on there anymore.

Works really well on particles as well... The goo... Pot of mixed big particles (tigers, maize, brazil etc) glugged 😉 in goo turned many sessions around for me when every one else was still strugling..

Hydro Liquids have overtaken Glugs for good reason, they just work.
I ain't no scientist, but even twenty years ago I knocked Mainlines gylerince based liquids on the head and was using the syrups they sold in the white bottles instead as they soaked into hookbaits far better and were multi-purpose.
Never saw the point of dipping hookbaits for a second or two into a pot of glycerine, which only glazed the outer coating

One of the big draws of particles is tge fermentation, glycerine will effect this so be careful how much you ise

If you have done well on the betaine liquid you could try Betastim. I would recommend British Aqua Feeds, but they seem to only sell minimum 5L now. AA baits do it in smaller amounts.
Betastim is pretty thin so soaks into baits nicely. If you want something with a bit more gloop you could mix it with molasses. I've done well on pellet soaked in this mix.
