Thanks that's great info. Boy do I wish I had a water like that to fish. Used to when I was a kid but not so many roach around now mainly bream. Less perch too.

I'm really lucky in that respect..,most go for the carp,but if you fish like fairly light and simple,I end up doing better than average,in fact Mark here's a little tale..

In that pool is a nice mirror ,it's easily noticed by a white mark,on its tail..
Coupla yrs ago ,newbie to the area asked me if I'd seen this fish,as he was fishing for it,y'know all the gear barrow etc,like I do sometimes...I said yeah I know that fish cos I had it this morning...he's looking at my kit Okuma Sheffield, the float rod ,etc 5lb line,12 hook..

I said ,no mate I've had it earlier,look..here's the fish ,mat shot..!
