I'm sure a lot of people have read the same papers as I have since this all came to light. The holy grail was always a substance that would draw fish in from far and wide. It seems like this may be it.

Would normally agree with this kind of sentiment but this situation has occurred on my lake and it does seem to have impacted the Angling for others and has certainly created a bad atmosphere on the syndicate. A real shame.

IF true....yes its a real shame, but its also a shame that there are far too many threads that turn out with the same subject.

I have a feeling people may try to plead ignorance to escape the wrath which in my opinion should be not be accepted with something as severe as this or will people attempt to brush it under the carpet like already appears to be happening by some

Not a clue if there is any truth in all the allegations being thrown around or not.
I do know though that if I was one of those being accused, id be making sure that everyone knew that I was completely innocent of all the accusations, and that any further allegations that were aimed in my direction would be treated as libel and a solicitor would be taking the matter up with those making them.
Its these lads livelihood, if there's no truth to the stories then some muck usually sticks and the fact that they were innocent will not matter. If the bait company they are with don't come out and deal with it soon then they will pay as well. I can't imagine for one moment that they'd accept being associated with this kind of unethical practice. Its gone on long enough now and needs putting to bed as soon as possible.

This is just the beginning. Carp angling as we know it is getting harder to find, hence why some have jacked it in entirely. Personally, I think it would be a travesty to let the practice be swept under the carpet until an ecological disaster occurs, and usually that's coupled with "WhY WaSn'T SoMeThInG SaId SoOnEr?"

Keep talking about it until it's inclusion is on the list of every rule book in the country. Our angling and the attention of the Anti's depends on it. Imagine if the Greta types got onto this? They would be fewmin, and rightly so.
