1:people coming up ask if I've caught anything
2:rubbish in swim
3:duck/bird **** in swim
4:people telling me how to catch when they not fishing themselves
5:people setting up next to me when there's plenty of room on a long stretch of canal

What fishie isn't saying is that it's a 'bag for life' and he's had it since 2018....

I've had that fish but it was bigger last time comment

Likes:
1. The prep, build up & anticipation of getting on the bank.
2. First light with a coffee / sunset with a cold beer.
3. The peace & quiet and escapism from day to day life/work etc.

Dislikes:
1. Rubbish/litter - anything left behind that shouldn't be.
2. Those sessions where everything that can go wrong, does.
3. Wet pack ups.

1. The relaxation
2. The run
3. The cameraderie on the bank. Met some lads through this forum who, 15 years later are still good friends.

Dislikes, nothing really, I avoid stuff that would annoy me.

I only have 1 for each.

Like:

1. The undoutable tolerance between anglers shown across social media/forums

Dislike:

1: People who fished in the 80's who put themselves up on some kind of elitest pedestal

I didn't think this would be so hard to answer.

Likes.

1. Being out in nature.
2. The expectation from planning to returning.
3. When it all goes as expected or maybe even unexpected I guess.

Dislikes.

1. Losing a fish.
2. Damaged fish.
3. Forgetting something I needed.

There are dislikes that revolve around inconsiderate anglers, but there can be only 3, and I guess they don't rank as highly as the ones I chose.
