Ewe nuts are csl straights not hemp pellets and are use to feed female pregnant sheep. They work well in small amounts but not the same as hemp pellets.

Ewe nuts are not CSL they may contain CSL and other by products. CSL nuts are sold for feeding to sheep and Cattle but they are not call CSL as this is a name given to them in fishing circles

Didn't Carp company do a mix called Seed of the weed,I know I got given lots of kilos to use of this back in the 90s,mainly on Salmonhutch and Creedy and Dutson,to be fair though,..I caught more on my homemade semo baits..
Alex ,carp fishing is like a giant puzzle,once you learn how to put the last pieces of that puzzle together, you'll find the key,in many ways it'll be a key significant to you,with that key ,experience and knowledge is learnt,...you can apply this to most lakes..
Keep things simple,and enjoy the journey..carping is not hard, just find 'your way...

Farmers buy corn straights by the ton for feeding sheep they are exactly the same product that tackle companies were selling as csl pellets especially Hinders. Small amount ok in a pva bag loads a waste of time.

Carp company did seed of the weed mate,I know this as my uncle was involved in Carp company from day one,and used many of the mixes including the original Caviar and cranberry on Orchid,. Check out Orchid Hall of fame and you will see what I mean..
Like I should have said,I was getting all these mixes here in the southwest,a long time before anyone else..
Soon as they came out,including the flavours I got sent lots to make and use on my local venues,all up n down Devon and Cornwall...
I remember taking seed of the weed to France,on my Aunties and Uncles fishery,and that's the last time I used it..

Just a thought, in my fishing if I change things its 1 at a time for a reason, then take it from there, over time it will click in to gear and your wonder what all the fuss was about, we all struggle from time to time and were all learning
