Early 80s Had a Argos sun lounger I would buy a extra cover and a large piece of foam put it between covers then 1986 got the lafuma bed it was comfortable compared to Argos one I used a 45 inch brolly with overwrap so if you can get a small bed it will fit let me know I want one but not going back to Argos one lol

The ribs are supposed to have a built on rubber/ plastic collar to prevent the storm pole adapter from sliding around, don't technically need one, I just popped a few on to hold them up at the end of the ribs.

My bed fit under it set up low, it was a compact bed I used with it mind, I'd say a regular size bedchair would be very tight mate.
