Too many 'nature loving' towny greenies around, who have no real understanding of nature, and sadly they have infected government and society.
The real population who live in the country have no say in what is happening.
Look at the comments and posts on various threads, or by people like Ken T and Wandle on 'end of an era' thread.
Those who actually know and understand countryside nature are being frozen out by the 'elite'.

I have already witnessed the destruction of the village I called home,the day Jonesys old man died was the day the village died..see,all the land got sold to a big developer,...Jonseys son,did well,got his custom Ducati and few quid in the bank,destroyed the community ...in the process,Oche Parsons land,also went same way...Fontbeam houses,estate from hell..
This IS what will happen to my area now,second homes,dull ,unfriendly stuck noses in the air,better than you types,don't speak,interact ,destroying the community,...then now the inevitable destruction of the green fields,all will get passed easily under the great big 'affordable'lie..
My advice,to anyone that will listen,from someone that eat,sleeps and lives and loves the countryside, and you have a little piece of heaven,is enjoy every second your there.,because..the green control agenda,government based etc,are controlling and destroying it very quickly..
