I'm not convinced by the whole bleep speed concept. I think I'd just prefer good old tried and tested sensitivity wheel.
If they must have loads of features I think they should have a single menu button that cycles the feature and then a dial to adjust.
As a very long term delkim user. I still think they dropped the ball with these.

I keep toying with getting a set of rx alarms as I have been using fox alarms since the SX came out
I use the DXR atm but it needs to go to dal to get a lead sorted and the tone sorted
But I also have a set of unused ace i3 in the shed so will the RX be any better than those lol....

The only reason I can think of them not implementing these changes is just because they can then bring other versions out in years to come. Literally once they've done them additions nothing else can be improved upon. Phone integration

Has anyone who's bought a set of TXI-D's recently managed to get a decent deal on them? If so, would you mind letting me know via PM?
I've been on 2 rod waters for a couple of years but starting to drop onto one that allows 3, so in the market for an additional alarm. Currently have 2 x TXI+ so torn between picking up a 3rd second hand or grabbing a new set of 3 TXI-D's. Not in a massive rush as my 2 rod license runs until August so have time to shop around and (hopefully) find a decent price to mull over.

My friends TXI-ds went by for a swim spent 15 minutes in the lake and worked there after. One of the push buttons needed a little compressed air to remove the grit from behind it. Otherwise fine.

My went through a storm last session it was absolutely pissing down for a long time, they work fine didnt have any false indication or any problem with them after that.

I've also never had any water ingress issues with my Delks, over many, many years. I've owned my current TXI plusses for years and had the previous versions before that - probably been 20 years with no problems in all weathers. Not saying things don't happen, of course they do. That goes for all makes and models - nothing is 100% perfect.

Seriously now ,I had nothing but trouble , had them re sealed etc
Had to buy temporary alarms , as I wanted to go fishing
Eventually I sold them on with the warranty
I've heard it time and time again that early txi alarm users have no trouble
What upset me was Delkim telling me there wasn't a problem , yet I've met
countless people with the same problem
I won't go on , I just enjoy winding delkim users up 😂

I upgraded from my trusty TXI's (had them 8 years, never had any problems) to the new D's nine months ago, zero issues and really impressed with the new features/compact size, etc. Definitely was worth getting the new ones, step up from the TXIs in many ways. A no brainer I would have thought.

Last year I treated myself to the new txi d they are brilliant until it rains
All 3 have suffered with rain
It's so frustrating you think you are buying the best and you are let down with quality
If it happened to one alarm I could accept it but all three means there is either design or quality control issues
I have exchanged them for the fox rx+
In my opinion the delkims are better than the rx+
But at least now I can go fishing when it's raining

Maybe a bad batch. It does happen. The rx+ had a batch where the dials kept coming off.
I have had no issues with delkims ever, in any weather. But i havent had issues with any fox alarms either

The biggest let down of my txis isn't the heads. It's the poor receiver. I don't trust mine anymore. I think I'd consider upgrading just to get shot of it.
